Kate Cassidy, Liam Payne’s girlfriend, expressed that her “heart is shattered” in a deeply emotional tribute to him.
In an Instagram post, Kate shared that the two had planned to marry next year. She wrote, “I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words. I wish you could see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone-millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me. You are so incredibly loved.”

One photo featured a selfie Liam took of the two during a Disneyland visit, with him playfully sticking his tongue out while wearing a Minnie Mouse headband. Kate also shared a photo of a note he had written for her.
Liam, 31, tragically passed away after falling from the third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last Wednesday night. An official statement from Argentinian police reported that he had “jumped from the balcony of his room,” dismissing any claims of an accidental fall or foul play.
A few days following Liam’s passing, Kate shared another message with her followers: “Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private. Liam, my angel. You are everything.
