Alison Brie has talked openly about her sexuality in a recent interview. The American actress is well-known for playing Trudy Campbell in Mad Men and voicing Diane Nguyen in BoJack Horseman. Brie, who is married to another actor, received support and congratulations from fans after speaking about her sexuality.
On X (formerly Twitter), one fan wrote: “I love this!”
Another added: “No, because of the way I screamed at my TV.”
A third commented: “What a win! Congrats to her.”
Brie is married to Dave Franco, known for 21 Jump Street and the younger brother of James Franco. The actress told Metro that she realized he was “the one” after a year of dating. She said, “I was like, ‘Oh wow, this thing I thought I maybe never would do, I could definitely see myself doing it with you.'”
Brie and Franco got engaged in 2015 and married in 2017. They have worked together on films like The Disaster Artist and The Little Hours.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Dave Franco talked about working with his wife, Alison Brie.
He joked, “We learned that Alison should not be on set while I’m having s** scenes with other women.”
Brie has also talked about their future and shared that they don’t plan to have children. She told The Sunday Times that while the idea sounds “nice,” it would feel too “stressful.” She added, “I think about how much we’re involved in our cats’ lives. Oh my God, if it was a child.”
Brie has been open about her sexuality as well. In an interview with her husband, she revealed that she’s bis**ual.
While promoting the romantic comedy Somebody I Used to Know, which Franco directed and Brie starred in, the actress discussed her s**ual orientation during an interview with BuzzFeed.
During a segment where they read thirst tweets from fans, one tweet said, “Listen, I am bis**ual for a reason, and that reason is strictly to be used in a threesome by Dave Franco and Alison Brie.”
Brie and Franco high-fived after reading the tweet, and the actress responded, “That’s also why I’m bis**ual!”
Franco joked that his wife had been “waiting for this” moment to come out, and she responded with a simple, “Yeah.”
