Cher said the experience was not romantic and called it “massively overrated.”

The famous singer shared that she had a crush on a boy from her neighborhood, and they started dating when she was 14.

She explained that while they would kiss in her bedroom, he acted differently when his friends were around.

“He was sweet enough when we were alone, but as soon as his friends came around, he’d treat me like an embarrassing kid,” Cher said, according to People.

One time, when the boy’s friends called her “that kid” mockingly, Cher reacted out of a mix of hurt feelings and determination.

Cher recalled: “I was so hurt when he did that, I had revenge s** with him. I had never wanted to. Otherwise, I would have done it one of the five hundred other times he asked.”

“But I was so angry at being dismissed, I decided to, if not lose, loan out my virginity to him.”

She continued: “When what turned out to be a massively overrated experience came to an end, I asked him, ‘Is that it? Are we finished?’ Then I told him to go home and never come back.”

Her reason was simple—she “wanted him to feel just as dismissed as he’d made me feel.”

Cher also said the boy tried to apologize, but she never spoke to him again.

The “After All” singer remembered hearing her mother’s voice in her head after losing her virginity.

She remembered: “I half expected to see the word S** flashing in fluorescent letters across my forehead, but I couldn’t spot anything different, and she didn’t either.”

Even though Cher never told her mom about the experience, she talked with friends about “fooling around with boys” but said she never went to “fourth base.”
