Jennifer Lopez matched her outfit to the theme of her new movie Kiss of the Spider Woman at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday.
She wore a sheer lace gown by Valdrin Sahiti with a sparkling web design. Her look was paired with a diamond ring by Hassanzadeh and a black clutch. Lopez’s stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who work with stars like Kerry Washington, Hailee Steinfeld, and Lindsay Lohan, created the look.
Jennifer Lopez’s hairstylist, Chris Appleton, styled her honey-blonde hair in a messy updo. Makeup artist Mary Phillips completed her look with brown eyeshadow, soft coral blush, and a glossy nude lip.
Lopez surprised fans at Tao’s Park City x Casamigos pop-up event the night before. She danced to her hit “Jenny From the Block” and performed a set, including her 2002 song “All I Have.”
For the event, she wore a matching khaki outfit by Zimmermann, featuring a cropped windbreaker with a cape and matching harem pants.
Lopez’s latest film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, premieres at the film festival on Sunday. The movie is based on Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel and the 1992 musical adaptation. In it, Lopez plays an imaginary screen siren named Ingrid Luna.
Earlier this month, Lopez celebrated Chris Appleton at the first annual WWD Style Awards in Los Angeles, where he won Best Hairstylist for his work with stars like Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Dua Lipa.
“What can I say about Chris Appleton? We’ve created so many amazing looks together. He is kind and collaborative and creative,” Lopez said in a pre-recorded video. “He is always up for ‘let’s do something new,’ from short hairstyles to long hairstyles, color, everything. He’s just always up to experiment. He really is an incredibly creative and one of the best hairdressers I’ve ever, ever had the privilege to work with.”
