Madonna excited fans with an unfiltered Instagram video and impressed them with a more natural look.
The “Material Girl” singer did not heavily change her appearance—a rare choice for Madonna, 66, who is usually seen with filters online.
“Bedtime Stories Re-release and Vinyl coming soon !” she wrote under the video of herself wearing a revealing pink slip dress and thigh-high sheer tights on Monday.
Madonna not only wore skimpy lingerie and skipped the filters but also used very little makeup in the video.
The singer chose a more natural look, replacing her usual smokey eyeshadow with light eyeliner and soft pink lipstick.
In the video, Madonna crawled on the floor and playfully took off her coat at one point.
In another part of the video, the Grammy winner wrote “Good-bye!” on her stationery and addressed it as “amore.”
In a different moment, Madonna put on a Burberry trench coat and glasses.
Many of the singer’s fans commented on the video, reacting to seeing Madonna without a filter and to her album announcement.
“MY ALBUM IS ALIIIIIVEEEEE [sic],” one fan wrote, while another said, “She look [sic] AMAZING.”
In 2022, plastic surgeon Dr. Ehsan Ali shared his thoughts with Page Six about what cosmetic work Madonna might have had.
“She for sure had a facelift,” Dr. Ali said. “You can see her skin is pulled back and tightened, with no loose skin and no wrinkles. A facelift also changes the shape of your eyes, and in her image, her eyes seem ‘pulled back.'”
A few months later, in February 2023, Madonna responded to comments about her appearance.
“Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol 😂,” she wrote under a photo posted on X, though she has never said what procedures she has had.
Last month, Madonna got people talking with a series of photos taken on her bed, wearing a little black dress that didn’t cover much.
The short dress had sheer sleeves and a deep neckline. Madonna matched it with nearly knee-high leather boots.
