Traveling to a different nation with a young family may be quite challenging. We witness people’s hardships at the airport, but there is frequently more to it than meets the eye.
That is what we are witnessing today with the royal couple, and Prince Harry and Megan Markel may choose not to visit the United Kingdom. They seem to be avoiding such excursions for now, but why?
According to Royal biographer Andrew Morton, she may not want to curtsy to Kate. That and other sorts of royal decorum would simply place Megan in the backseat, and it seems she does not want to be there.
Morton came on Sky News’ Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips to address why Megan does not want to be a guest of the royal family on their territory. He said:
“What, and have Meghan Markle curtsying to Kate Middleton? I don’t think so. I don’t see that as a runner.”
There might be additional reasons they are unable to go abroad. This includes their hectic lifestyles.
When Harry visits the United Kingdom, he often leaves Meghan at home with her two children, Archie and Lili. This isn’t necessarily about security protocols.
Andrew went on to explain, “They have their own lives in California. They’ve got their own set, they’ve got their own influencer, and they’ve got their own companies.”
Interestingly, royal custom requires Meghan to curtsy to Kate only if she is standing close to Prince William. If they were together in another area, it wouldn’t have happened yet.
Meghan, as queen consort after William ascends to the throne, must curtsy to her whenever they meet.
There has been a lot of discussion and conjecture about why there seems to be troubles inside the royal family. Kate and Meghan seem to have had a falling out at some time, but there is reason to assume they were not on good terms from the start.
The iconic flower girl incident occurred during Meghan and Harry’s wedding in 2018. Following that, they don’t seem to have formed a healthy friendship. Since then, it seems that nothing has changed.
At some time, they will have to be in the same approximate area. Perhaps it will be during King Charles’ burial. Until that time, they are not required to be in the same room. It would need to be a personal decision.
