The woman known for having the ‘world’s biggest cheeks’ recently posted throwback photos that show her looking drastically different before her extensive body modifications.
Facial fillers have gained popularity over the years.
Cheek fillers, specifically, are becoming increasingly favored for achieving sculpted cheekbones.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, this nonsurgical beauty treatment “gives your cheeks a fuller, more defined look” by using “safe substances called dermal fillers” which are injected “around and above your cheekbones.”
While small amounts of filler might go unnoticed, there are those who push their passion for enhancements to the limit.
Anastasia Pokreshchuk is one such example.
The Ukrainian model, famed for her ‘world’s biggest cheeks,’ has just shared an old photo of herself from before she embarked on her controversial path with fillers.
Pokreshchuk started using fillers in her twenties and has since undergone numerous procedures to dramatically enlarge her cheeks.
In addition to her cheeks, she has veneers and breast implants, and has received Botox injections in her forehead, as reported by the Mirror.
Anastasia Pokreshchuk’s extremely pronounced cheeks have drawn the most attention to her.
Speaking to the New York Post, she expressed her contentment, saying, “I love them, I want them to look like this and I’m very happy. I regularly inject other parts of my face myself.”
“I understand that they look weird for other people but I don’t mind.”
Pokreshchuk has also shared the negative aspects of her distinctive look.
She revealed, “I’ve had people tell me I am an ugly b**** and that I should kill myself but when I see it I just laugh it off and ignore it.”
During her appearance on ITV’s This Morning, she elaborated on her transformation: “I love this look. I was like a grey mouse. My nose was too big. And now I have big cheeks and big lips it looks OK.”
“My mom thinks that I was naturally beautiful before, but now thinks I look more exotic and my friends say my new appearance is better because before I looked like a grey mouse.”
Pokreshchuk has also responded to critics of her appearance on Instagram.
She posted, “I don’t understand this kind of thinking at all. I don’t understand how I can think about my appearance based on what others say.”
“I don’t care what others say because this is my face and I have to like it, not you. This is my face and my life.”
She concluded with a firm message: “You will not live my life for me, OK?”
“You may think that they are too big but I think that they’re a little bit small, I need to refresh them again soon,” she shared with the Sun.
“I love them, I want them to look like this and I’m very happy. I regularly inject other parts of my face myself,” Pokreshchuk told Femail.
“I understand that they look weird for other people but I don’t mind.”
Pokreshchuk also revealed that she underwent a risky Brazilian butt lift procedure, stating, “I wasn’t scared.”
“Yes it’s the most dangerous surgery but it’s also the most popular one. Beauty is pain! You can die crossing the street!”
Pokreshchuk recently shared a throwback photo of her natural face, surprising many online.
She posted a video on TikTok featuring images from before she embarked on her journey to achieve the ‘world’s biggest cheeks.’
The reaction shows that many people appreciated her former, more understated appearance.
One viewer commented, “Omg your natural face is so beautiful.”
Another remarked, “You were naturally very pretty.”
Despite these praises, some viewers expressed admiration for Pokreshchuk’s more dramatic look.
“Everyone has their own definition of beauty, not everyone can look this good with defined cheekbones,” one person commented.
Echoing this sentiment, another added, “You are one of a kind and unique!”
Pokreshchuk shared with Mail Online, “I get hate comments online all the time – no one has the confidence to say it in person. In real life, people want to hug me and take pictures with me. It’s so nice!”
She continued, “I don’t have people around me that judge me, but I don’t give a f*** what people think of me. My friends never judge me.”
“My mother tells me that I looked beautiful before of course, but now she calls me ‘exotic’. She is my best friend and the best possible support I could ask for.”
