Taylor Swift has definitely been in the spotlight recently. Not only is she one of the most popular pop stars today, but she’s also known for being a football fan.
Although she attends many of her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s games, that doesn’t mean they can always be together. His mother, Donna, mentioned that they will not be spending Thanksgiving together.
A report from the Today Show reveals that the 34-year-old singer, who recently received six more Grammy nominations, is unlikely to attend the family’s Thanksgiving celebration.
When asked about Taylor’s plans, Donna responded, “I don’t think so. She’s kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do.”
When they inquired if she would be hosting a big family dinner, Donna said, “Not that anything’s planned. I think we’re just going to be at the football game.”
Meanwhile, Taylor is on her international Eras Tour, which runs until December. Donna was able to attend the tour in Miami last month with her oldest son, Jason, who is retired from the Philadelphia Eagles. Jason’s wife and their two oldest daughters also joined them.
Just because they aren’t able to spend Thanksgiving together doesn’t mean that there is trouble in paradise. When he was asked about their relationship, Travis said they were ‘absolutely happy.’
Even Stevie Nicks was interested in their relationship, saying that she hoped they ‘fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset.’
She went on to say: “He does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that. I just want all of that for her.”
